Association “Bulgarian Ultramarathons 2020” is a non-governmental organization created by passionate mountain and running enthusiasts, with a mission to develop outdoor sports, amateur sports and mountaineering culture in Bulgaria. We have been organizing races since 2013, and we have two iconic ultramarathons behind us — Persenk Ultra and Trakia Ultra.
Guided by the motto "From friends to friends", we create experiences with soul – for runners, volunteers and spectators. We believe that sport unites, inspires and builds community.

The UTMB Index is the official ranking of the International UTMB organization, measuring each runner’s performance in certified races around the world. The Thracian Ultra races are part of this global network and award points toward your UTMB Index.
