Varna → Shumen → Veliko Tarnovo → Plovdiv → Asenovgrad → Chepelare → Shiroka Laka (~450 km, ~6.5 hours)

From Burgas

Burgas → Stara Zagora → Plovdiv → Asenovgrad → Chepelare → Shiroka Laka (~350 km, ~5.5 hours)

Note: There is limited public transport from Smolyan to Shiroka Laka. It is recommended to use a taxi or rent a car for this section.

Note: There is no direct train line to Shiroka Luka. The nearest train stations are in Plovdiv and Asenovgrad, from where you can continue by bus or car.
